Top 5 guitar solos in H!P songs

Comments

That's one of the great things about Heike's catalog, lots of guitar solos. I totally hear Comfortably Numb in Yuko's song, and the Ouijisama solo sounds straight out of Ringo's "It Don't Come Easy" (I think that was George playing on that song)
That is George on "It Don't Come Easy", and I too hear a lot of George H. in Ouijisama, although I would point the comparison more towards George's slide work on his post-Apple solo albums.
Yeah, there had to be loads of solos in Heike songs. She was the "rock" soloist after all! Great that you hear Gilmour and Harrison in the songs, means I wasn't just imagining it myself. :)
Hellacious series! I love the orchestrations of these songs. I would also stick the guitar solo midway through "Jump" by C-ute in my favorite halof-dozen, though your list is otherwise pretty much complete. Does Sharan Q do most of these tracks, or did they do them in the past? Who are these superb guitarists anyway?
Thanks for the compliment!
To my knowledge, all of Sharan Q has never played on any Hello! Project song (unless their cover of Morning Musume's Aruiteru counts), but on some songs the band members have contributed, ie. the guitarist on some Michiyo Heike songs, the keyboard player on some Ichii Sayaka in CUBIC-CROSS songs... and of course Tsunku who does lots of backing vocals and so on. The guitarists and other musicians who play are all most likely not well known, just nameless studio musicians and hired guns I'd guess.
